Society: Free noodles given to sanitation workers in Harbin

A noodle restaurant in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, has provided more than 20,000 free bowls of noodles to sanitation workers since its opening in December. "Our boss' mother was a sanitation worker," said Liu Zhenliang, the manager of the restaurant. "He is deeply moved by their hard work. Therefore, he wants to repay society." According to Liu, every day about 50 customers enjoy the free noodles, which cost the restaurant about 600 yuan ($91).
