Market-determined pricing to be established

A market-determined pricing mechanism will be established by 2020, a guideline released recently by the National Development and Reform Commission said.

The top price regulator said in the guideline that a government-regulated pricing mechanism will also be set up based on designated cost and reasonable profits. In addition, another pricing system will be forged to promote green development, while a pricing system ensuring the welfare for low-income groups will be created, the document said.
