Experts: Unfamiliar box not a tomb

Around China

Archaeologists are studying a coffin-shaped structure that was built on top of a door in an ancient house in Shaoxing's Humen village. Locals say it was the tomb of a 7-year-old girl. Her parents, they say, loved their daughter and placed her body inside the house because they did not want to bury her far away. Yet experts have ruled this possibility out because they found no corpse or tomb remains inside.
