Robber asks for money on WeChat

A man who used WeChat to rob a woman in the early morning of Nov 1 was detained in Ningbo. After robbing his victim of more than 300 yuan ($45) in cash, the man forced her to scan his smartphone QR code and transfer another 450 yuan to his WeChat account. The woman called police as soon as her assailant had fled. Officers tracked down the suspect a few days later.
