Extreme elite descend on Chengdu

Nanhu Park in Chengdu is braced for a feast of high-octane action as the elite of the extreme sports sphere go to battle this weekend.

The FISE (Festival International of Extreme Sports) World Series rolls into town from Nov 3-5, with the best international athletes in BMX, skateboarding, mountain biking, roller freestyle and parkour set to push the limits in search of glory.

This year's series kicked off in Montpellier, France, in May before heading to Budapest in August and then Edmonton, Canada, in September.
