Hikers stranded in forest for 24 hours
Three young hikers were rescued after being stranded in a mountain forest for 24 hours in the western part of the city on Oct 21. Firefighters were alerted by a report that two men and a woman had lost their way while walking in the forest at 9:30 pm. Rescue crews braved rain during the search before bringing the hikers to the foot of the mountain. The three hikers were unhurt.
