Third national land survey set to launch

China will launch its third national land survey this year, according to a notice released by the State Council.

The notice, which was signed by Premier Li Keqiang and released on Oct 16, said Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli will head a leading group responsible for the survey. Local governments at all levels should set up a leading group to help carry out the survey, it added.
