Briton Damion Braithwaite has made a name for himself in Changsha's large expat community in Hunan province, after establishing a website and official WeChat account telling local foreigners everything they need to know about the city. Arriving in Changsha almost a decade ago, Braithwaite started out as a teacher in the international department of Yali High School. Then he fell in love with the city and built a new life, finding love, getting married, and having a young daughter.
