Yum elevates COO Joey Wat to CEO in mainland

Joey Wat, president and COO of Yum China Holdings Inc, which operates KFC restaurants, will become CEO in March 2018. Wat joined the group in 2014 as president of KFC China. Before that, she worked for 10 years with Watson, a retailer of healthcare products, as the in-charge of management and strategy. During her Yum stint, KFC China's sales grew 3 percent in 2016. After being named president and COO of Yum China in February, she led Pizza Hut restaurants and its food ordering business in China.
