PM predicts full defeat of IS in 2017
Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on Tuesday expected the Islamic State militants in Iraq to be completely defeated this year. At a news conference, Abadi hailed the victories of the Iraqi security forces against the IS group, especially in the last offensive in Hawijah Pocket in the ethnically mixed province of Kirkuk.
