WASHINGTON - Two US Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers on Tuesday conducted combined training with air force units from Japan and the Republic of Korea in the vicinity of the Sea of Japan, according to US Pacific Air Forces.
"Continuous Bomber Presence missions ensure the US, along with key allies, have a credible capability to respond to a variety of levels and types of threats throughout the Indo-Asia-Pacific region," said the US military in a statement.
The joint drill came on the same day as US military leaders briefed President Donald Trump on options regarding the Democratic People's Republic of Korea nuclear issue.
