Judge stretches Yankees' comeback hopes

China Daily | Updated: 2017-10-10 07:17

NEW YORK - It's fortunate for Masahiro Tanaka and the New York Yankees that outfielder Aaron Judge is 6-foot-7.

Judge stretched to make a huge catch that prevented a two-run homer, saving Tanaka's seven-inning gem as New York edged the Cleveland Indians 1-0 on Sunday night in Game 3 of their AL Division Series.

The Indians lead the best-of-five series 2-1, with Game 4 on Monday night at Yankee Stadium. Luis Severino is scheduled to start for New York while Cleveland will go with Game 1 winner Trevor Bauer on three days' rest, though there's rain in the forecast.
