Young interpreter wows medical staff

A 10-year-old girl has won the admiration of medical workers and patients at a hospital in Hanzhong. In addition to looking after her mother, who cannot hear or speak, Yang Shuting has acted as an interpreter between her mother and medics for more than a month. The primary school student, whose father is employed outside the city, said she asked for a month's leave to look after her mother, who has lung cancer.
