Fresh sanctions imposed on Iran

The US Treasury Department announced on Thursday it has imposed sanctions on 11 entities and individuals for supporting Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for cyberattacks against the United States. The sanctions targeted one entity engaging in supporting the IRGC's ballistic missile program, two Ukraine-based entities supporting designated airlines, and two Iran-based networks responsible for cyber-enabled attacks against the US financial system, said the Treasury in a statement.
