Woman detained over gas explosion

A woman in Xiangtan has been detained on suspicion of disconnecting a gas pipe in her rented house, causing an explosion. The woman, surnamed Mo, is accused of disconnecting the pipe following a fight with her boyfriend, surnamed Zhou, in July. Mo left for Nanjing afterward, while Zhou returned to the house the next morning and lit a cigarette, which caused the explosion. Zhou suffered serious burns as a result.
