Afghan children examined for free
A group of Chinese doctors conducted free congenital heart disease examinations in late August for children from birth to seven years old in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan. A total of 100 children, who were diagnosed with the disease, could get free surgery in China. The organizer, the Chinese Red Cross Foundation, said it will provide technical and financial support to the project in the future.
