China's IoT market value to increase

The China Economic Information Service released its latest annual report on the development of China's internet of things industry on Friday. According to the report, China has expanded its IoT market value to more than 900 billion yuan ($59.11 billion) in 2016, up 20 percent from the previous year. The value is estimated to hit 1.5 trillion yuan by 2020. Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province has become the first prefecture-level city in the country to realize the full coverage of IoT.
