Railways record 592m summer trips
China's railway network saw about 592 million passenger trips during the summer travel peak, which ran from July 1 to Aug 31, data from China Railway Corporation showed on Friday. The volume marked a year-on-year increase of 9.6 percent, with an average of 9.55 million trips made each day.
