Robots prove to be best friends

Robots are being employed to accompany and "befriend" left-behind children. Those robots, which featured functions including chatting, teaching and remote monitoring, were suitable for little children to use, according to the organizer, China Charities Aid Foundation for Children. It donated 500 such intelligent robots in August to kindergartens, primary schools and welfare institutions in poor areas of China. The program aimed to help those children learn more technological knowledge and give them more fun in life.
