Comment sought on fundraising law

On Thursday, the State Council requested public comment on a draft law for the prevention of and punishment for illegal fundraising, aiming to ensure the healthy development of the financial sector. Members of the public can make suggestions and comments on the draft until Sept 24. The draft also encourages local governments to reward whistle-blowers and follow up on tips about illegal fundraising.
