Residents connect with local businesses

Ding Shihe, a 71-year-old citizen in Beijing, was delighted to tell Beijing Daily that he marveled at the milk production line in the State-owned Sanyuan Group, which provides milk to the capital's citizens daily.

As a native, Ding said old Beijingers would prefer to choose locally produced Sanyuan milk because it hit the market on the same day of its production. He added only a local, State-owned enterprise could achieve this thanks to its advanced production and logistics.

"I was fascinated to see the automatic production without any people," Ding said, during a SOE Open Day on June 9, organized by Beijing State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.
