Regional environmental heads to discuss pollution

Japan, China and South Korea will hold a two-day trilateral environment ministers' meeting from Thursday in Suwon, South Korea, to discuss responses to invasive species and air pollution. Li Ganjie, the environmental protection minister, will take part in the event and hold talks with his Japanese and South Korean counterparts. The ministers plan to issue a joint statement on Friday. The trilateral environment talks have been held annually since 1999.
