One-China stance earns plaudits

An Fengshan, spokesman for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, expressed appreciation to the New Party in Taiwan on Monday for upholding the one-China policy and opposing "Taiwan independence". Yok Mu-ming, chairman of the New Party, said on Sunday that the party would strive for peaceful unification. It was celebrating its 24th anniversary.
