Forum to discuss Belt, Road opportunities in Bangladesh

The first China-Bangladesh Investment Forum will be held in Beijing on Monday. More than 300 officials, entrepreneurs and bankers will gather at the meeting to discuss the growing opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative. China has emerged as one of the fastest-growing sources of foreign direct investment in Bangladesh, which is in need of major infrastructure development. Bilateral trade between the two last year was about $15 billion.
