Toutiao helps quake victims

Chinese online content aggregation application Toutiao launched its online people search platform together with China National Radio on Aug 8 when the earthquake hit Jiuzhaigou county of southwestern Sichuan province. By 10 pm the next day, more than 2,500 pieces of information were released to help about 50 people make contact with their family members or friends. Netizens can upload and share the information about missing people, helping them establish links.
