Jilted woman abandons kids to draw out dad

A woman in Taizhou is being investigated by police after abandoning three of her children by the side of a road late one night. The children, aged between 2 and 7, were found by officers at about 2 am on Aug 4. They said they had been ditched by their mother, who refused to take them back when contacted by police. She said she had left them there so that her estranged husband, who worked at a nearby company, would show himself. The company, however, told police the children's father had resigned several months earlier and that they did not know his whereabouts.
