PLA airborne troops shine in games

Chinese airborne troops won first place in 11 of 12 Airborne Platoon events during International Army Games 2017 in Guangshui, Hubei province, according to official results published on Thursday. The games are an important platform for air forces to learn from each other, said Shen Jinke, spokesman for the organizers. Shen said the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force is willing to cooperate with other countries' armed forces to protect world peace. Air forces from China, Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Morocco, South Africa and Venezuela joined the competition.
