Medical team to begin Laos humanitarian mission
A 90-member medical team comprising staff from the People's Liberation Army Third Military Medical University in Chongqing and the Kunming General Hospital in Yunnan province will embark on a humanitarian mission to Laos on Tuesday. The Train of Peace 2017 project will last until Aug 8, according to the Ministry of Defense. Equipped with tent hospitals and various medical tools, the team will provide a range of free services in the Laotian capital Vientiane and in the northern province of Luang Namtha.
