SAIC GM's all-new Regal

SAIC GM's all-new Regal hit the market in Shanghai on Friday, with its prices ranging from 175,800 yuan ($26,005) to 269,800 yuan. Compared with its predecessor, the popular mid-sized model has extended its wheelbase by 92 millimeters to 2,829 mm and cut its weight by 160 kilograms. Its matrix LED headlights illuminate up to 400 meters. There are three powertrain options. The 1.5T engine version has a maximum output of 125 kilowatts and a top torque of 252 newton meters, and the 2.0T engine produces a maximum output of 192 kW and a top torque of 350 Nm. The hybrid version sports a 1.8 liter engine, with its torque reaching 380 Nm, while the fuel consumption per 100 km stands at 4.3 L.
