Liulichang, Beijing's 300-year-old cultural market, has been restored to its original style after nearly 40 shops along the street were completely rebuilt in traditional style.

The 1-kilometer-long street looks as it did during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), when the ancient capital's residents went there to buy calligraphy and paintings.
