Deadly ship crash being investigated

TOKYO - A probe into the crash between a US navy destroyer and a Philippine-flagged cargo ship was underway on Monday, as the names of seven US sailors who died were made public.

The USS Fitzgerald and the Philippine-flagged container ship ACX Crystal collided south of Tokyo Bay early on Saturday. The cause of the collision in clear weather is not known.
