BRICS Sherpas to meet ahead of Xiamen summit

China, which holds the BRICS presidency this year, will host the second BRICS Sherpa meeting in Qingdao, Shandong province, on Wednesday and Thursday. The meeting will be chaired by Vice-Foreign Minister Li Baodong, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. BRICS Sherpas help coordinate the bloc's annual gatherings. This year's BRICS Summit will be held in Xiamen, Fujian province in September.
