Scientists to descend on Beijing for space summit

The Global Space Exploration Conference will be held in Beijing from Monday to Friday. More than 600 scientists and officials from home and abroad will attend the conference, hosted by the International Astronautical Federation and the Chinese Society of Astronautics. The event will offer a platform for delegates to exchange ideas and seek cooperation. China has already signed cooperation agreements with more than 30 countries and organizations, including Russia, the European Space Agency and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs.
