Acting governor named in Jiangsu

Wu Zhenglong, former top official of Nanjing, Jiangsu province, was appointed on Wednesday acting governor of the province, replacing Shi Taifeng.
Born in 1964, Wu has a bachelor's degree in engineering and is a senior engineer. From 1999 to 2016, he held senior posts in Chongqing municipality and Shanxi province until 2016, when he was transferred to work as Party chief of Nanjing.
From 1984 to 1999, Wu worked in various posts in some ministries and a large State-owned company, including the former ministry of ordnance industry, the former state commission of machinery industry and China National Machinery Equipment Group Corp.
