A moment in time: Ready for a sibling

A hoarding showcases China's old family planning program promoting the idea that "I'm my mother's only child" in Beijing in 1982.

But a new one in Changde, Hunan province, in February says: "Family planning is a basic policy to be kept, while a second child is encouraged."

Such hoardings encouraging couples to think of having a second child have been seen since the new rules were announced in 2015.
