Six injured in knife attack

Six people were injured after a man attacked them with a knife and a bat on Sunday at a park in Chiba prefecture, eastern Japan, local media reported. Local fire department said it received a call around 11:20 am local time saying a man was attacking people with a knife and a bat in a park in the city of Matsudo. The injured, including the attacker, have been sent to a hospital, and two of them were seriously hurt. Police are investigating the identity of the suspect and the cause of the attack.
