Trusted and reliable partners aid the go-global journey
Global companies including Siemens AG, Schneider Electric and General Electric have all made plans to form more partnerships with China's power, infrastructure, transport and energy companies to tap the opportunities created by the Belt and Road Initiative.
Lothar Herrmann, chief executive officer of Siemens China, said there are many opportunities being created by the fast development of the China-led initiative, which is generating growing trade and investment volume, as well as increasing demand for foreign products, public services and flexible financing solutions in countries participating in the initiative.
Siemens signed a partnership agreement with China National Bearing Joint Import and Export Corp, a subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Corp in February. The two parties will cooperate in areas such as technology research and development, equipment manufacturing and local and global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects. The cooperation with Siemens will help Sinomach and its subsidiaries seize opportunities to speed up their transformation and upgrading and develop their local and overseas businesses.
