New look for the capital

With flowers, trees and lighting projects, Beijing is dressed up to receive its guests for the event

The Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation will leave Beijing looking better as the municipal government has worked to improve the city's appearance for the event.

Thanks to six months of work, Beijing now has an additional 535,000 square meters of green space.Also, 5.94 million square meters of existing green area has got a face-lift.
