People: Folk artist dedicated to making bird cages

Guo Guangming, a folk artist from Lanzhou, Gansu province, is an expert at making bird cages. Many bird raisers from outside the city visit Guo for his handmade cages. The 60-year-old started making them when he was 40. The cages are made of bamboo with exquisite engravings and patterns on the frame and door.
