Car runs over homeless senior

A homeless 74-year-old man was run over by a car on a housing estate in Fuzhou on April 30. The old man, who got trapped under the car, was rescued after firefighters arrived at the scene and lifted the vehicle off him. He was sent to hospital, but was found to have only a minor injury to his left leg. The driver said he mistook the old man wrapped in a quilt for a pile of garbage.
