Academy to hold briefing on quantum technologies

The Chinese Academy of Sciences will hold a media briefing in Beijing on Wednesday to announce the latest breakthroughs in quantum communications and computing. China is developing a quantum computer, which is expected to be much faster than current supercomputers. Last year, the country launched the world's first quantum satellite.
