Sprint aces Su and Xie head the list of homegrown hopefuls set to square off against world's best in Shanghai

A slew of world-class Chinese talent, spearheaded by sprinters Su Bingtian and Xie Zhenye, has been added to the star-studded Shanghai Diamond League athletics meet on May 13.

Coming off a bronze medal in the 4x100m at the IAAF World Relays in the Bahamas earlier this week, Su and Xie, who won 4x100 silver at the 2015 worlds in Beijing, will be out to give American superstar and Rio Olympics runner-up Justin Gatlin a run for his money in the 100m and push 2016 Diamond Race winner Alonso Edward over 200m.
