Spaceship-tracker begins new mission

Chinese spaceship-tracking vessel Yuanwang-7 began its maritime monitoring and communication mission on Monday morning. As it sails into the Pacific Ocean for its first independent operation, the ship will be watching Tianzhou-1, the country's first cargo spacecraft. It is also expected to perform scientific tasks and to be available for emergencies after reaching its destination on Thursday.
