Society: 'Smog Free Tower' to tackle Tianjin air pollution

Designers from the Netherlands have brought a smog free tower to Tianjin. The 7-meter-tall tower is essentially a large outdoor air purifier, sucking polluted air in through electrostatic absorption technology and filtering out the smog particles before releasing clean air. The tower will start running soon after installment.
