Myanmar leader to visit China, ministry confirms

Myanmar President U Htin Kyaw will pay a state visit to China from Thursday to Tuesday at the invitation of President Xi Jinping, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. During the visit he will meet with Xi and exchange views on China-Myanmar relations and other issues. U Htin Kyaw's visit to China is the first by a Myanmar head of state since the country's new government took office.
