Severe weather to hit southern China

Large areas of South China will be hit by rain and severe weather conditions from Sunday to Tuesday, according to the country's national observatory. Regions south of the Yangtze River will experience rain, with parts of Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and Fujian provinces seeing moderate to heavy rain, the National Meteorological Center said on Sunday.
