Chinese customers have greater demand for innovative products that many local producers, especially in the traditional manufacturing sector, are not yet able to provide. Enterprises in the manufacturing sector are able to buy small and medium-sized foreign companies to provide a faster pace of industrial upgrading.

By taking advantage of high-technology and learning from mature business models in other countries, some businesses have quickly been able to stand out among other domestic outfits and created more cross-border business opportunities.
