Amendment process is underway to beef up anti-corruption efforts

China will push forward its anti-corruption legislation and regulate its supervisory system by drafting a national supervision law this year, a spokeswoman for the annual session of China's top legislature said on Saturday.

The process of amending the Administrative Supervision Law to make it a more powerful national supervision law is underway and the revised version is scheduled to be submitted to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress for discussion within the year, said Fu Ying, the spokeswoman for the fifth session of the 12th NPC.
