Actor's fans help S. Korean charity

In order to celebrate the 30th birthday of South Korean entertainment celebrity Kim Soo-hyun, his Chinese fans club donated 2.16 million won ($1,907) to children who are awaiting adoption, according to a news release issued by the social welfare institute in the Republic of Korea, which received the donation. The donation will be used to purchase milk powder for the infants to be adopted. Four representatives of Kim's Chinese fans club paid a visit to the social welfare institute, and delivered the money to its director. A member of the fans club said: "We hope we could conduct some good deeds in order to celebrate our idol's birthday."
