Society: Commuters ignore Scattering Book campaign

The Scattering Book project swept across big cities in China three months ago with 10,000 books dropped on trains, airplanes and taxis for sharing. Now the results are in: the event's promoter says just 4,000 books were picked up, while only 237 were picked up more than three times. The project was backed by several celebrities.
